A link between development and practical use

We are continuing to develop our air purification offering, and Pia Appelgren has become a central part of the team in this work. With her broad experience and close co-operation with customers, she is an important resource for UVtech and contributes to ensuring that our solutions reach the best possible audience. Pia is often out in the field,...

Technology

Using UV light, fat and other molecules are quickly broken down into harmless residues. At the same time, ozone is also generated, further enhancing the purification process.

UVtech uses Nobel Prize-winning technology around photolysis

Using quantum physics methods, UVtech can decompose molecules. The principle is to use the right radiation energy at the right moment to break double bonds in complex molecules. By controlling different wavelengths and energy densities, long fat molecules and smelly aromatic benzene derivatives are broken down into harmless substances. The system also produces wavelengths with energy densities that decompose oxygen and water into active radicals that rapidly oxidise the decomposed molecules.

The result is harmless molecules that do not have a bad odour, are not flammable or otherwise have a negative impact on our environment.
